Pad work with 3x Bantamweight world champion Dean James

Here is a video of me working some focused power kicks and punches with world champion Dean James during a recent training session. It is always useful to analyse your technique and footwork to look for areas of improvement. After 8 weeks off hitting the pads I was pretty happy with my balance and power but I do need to work on my heels being too flat on the floor. You can be seen in the video that on occasion my feet are too flat and transferring your weight and keeping on the toes helps with the speed, power and balance. Positives are that both my kicks are still powerful, balanced and effective especially the left side which is a tough technique to master.
